The reason why I made my fish like this is because we were supposed to make it with a similarity to us and my last name is king. I made these the colors like this because green is one of my favorite colors. I didn't plan on having the mouth like this but I like that I made it that way. One of my first problems was that on the first night one of my sides and fins dried up and I couldn't use them. In the end I had to make a new side and fin but i still got that done quickly. Glazing was a little difficult because the glaze kept smearing onto the fin when I was doing the body and smearing on the body when I was doing the fins. I am happy with the way my fish turned out. The glaze looks good but I could have done a little bit better in my opinion. I would be a little bit happier if the whole fish was perfectly even with the glaze.
My calligraphy writing turned out pretty good but I wish I could have wrote bigger to use the pen. My border took a lot of my time to work on and it turned out really good in my opinion. If I could do it again I would write bigger to use the pens and tea stain it a little better.
I have improved my drawing abilities by actually being able to draw a room. Before art class I could only do basic 2-d drawings and they were not good. Now i can do decent drawings and I look like I know how to draw good.
